Physical Therapy at Fallbrook Hospital
Physical Therapy helps to preserve, develop and restore physical function. Therapists evaluate patients to determine the impairments and "problem" areas, and customize a treatment plan with goals to reach their highest possible functional level. Patients receive education and a customized home treatment program to help them manage their condition.
The treatment plan may include strategies to resolve pain, problems with walking, posture, or balance, and help athletes with mechanical imbalances and overuse issues to improve performance.
Therapists use a "hands-on" approach that integrates exercises, manual therapy and other forms of treatment such as Strain Counterstrain and Feldenkrais (movement therapy). All treatments are performed by a licensed professional.
